K4 Construction, LLC is a General Contractor / Construction Manager located in Waco, Texas and serves the Central Texas Area. K4 Construction was founded in 2011 by owners Keith Helpert and Mark Perry. Although the firm is somewhat new, the key players and their relationships with the Central Texas construction industry are anything but new. In Keith Helpert’s 19+ years of project management, he has successfully completed well over $100 million in construction. Mark Perry brings 30+ years of construction experience to the table and the experience of owning a separate successful local business for over 15 years. In 2011, Keith Helpert and Mark Perry joined forces to create K4 Construction.
K4 Construction has a lean overhead structure which allows them to offer very competitive pricing in the hard-bid market and great value to the client in the Construction Manager market. Where K4’s services differ from the competition is the level of organization they bring to a project, the amount & quality of communication between K4 and the project design professionals both during design & construction, and the detailed management of the project that is provided during construction. K4 Construction currently employs a workforce of 24, which includes 6 Skilled Project Superintendents and 3 Jr Project Superintendents. Our project superintendents have an average of 20+ years of experience in commercial construction. K4 Construction’s project management team consists of Keith Helpert (President), David McMahan (Field Operations/Project Manager), Julie Ellison (Architect/Project Manager), Kevin Bearden (Estimator / Project Manager), and Cindy Abbott (Office Manager).
